Sports Nutrition Health And Performance
We offer a range of services to help you get the most out of sports nutrition for health and performance.
No matter whether you’re trying to improve your sports performance, lose or gain body weight, or just feel more healthy and energised, we can help.
Individual Consultations And Dietary Analysis
Keep a record of what you eat and drink for 2 – 3 normal days, along with the exercise or training you are doing. Our nutritionist will analyse this and then during a one hour consultation they will go through this with you and discuss ways to improve your nutrition and hydration to achieve your goals.
If you are a sports person we will help you get the most out of your training through ensuring you are getting enough of the appropriate nutrients. We can also advise on supplements and sport-specific nutritional and hydration strategies.
If you are an athlete trying to achieve a particular weight, either through gaining weight or losing it, we can help you do this in a safe and healthy way.
One of our specialities is helping prepare you to compete in the heat by developing a personalised hydration strategy. Many Ironman triathletes and even some motorbike riders have benefitted from this service.
If you just want to lose weight and feel more energised, we can also help. Your diet will be analysed to make sure you are eating the appropriate nutrients. Our nutritionist will advise you on any changes you could make to improve your nutritional habits to reach your goals. A range of health measures such as body composition and cholesterol, blood pressure and so on can be included in this session.
Our consultations usually include a written report which includes lots of practical advice and information to help you remember what was discussed during the session and make any recommended changes to your diet.
We deliver a lot of these workshops, and we always tailor them to the needs of our client. We can cover a whole range of topics related to sports nutrition for health and sport. So if you think your club or squad could do with some advice about the best things to eat on match day or the best strategies to help you recover for training then get in touch.
These sessions are always interactive and you will go away with new ideas and strategies to implement.
